Full Frame Fotolabor

Shooting film comes with a lot of different, but exciting challenges. Apart from the fact that one film only has up to 36 frames, the film also needs to be developed, scanned and printed onto paper. In the age of digital cameras and smartphones, getting film processed has become quite expensive and time consuming.

Vitaly Savvin and I therefore had the idea to create an affordable, reliable and easy to use film lab for young film enthusiasts like ourselves. This is how 'Full Frame Fotolabor' was born and officially founded at the start of July 2020.

At Full Frame we manage and process every film ourselves. This gives us the opportunity to work very closely with our customers and react to their needs, ideas and wishes.

Since we mainly try to appeal to a younger audience, we particularly specialize on the digitalization of film and slide film. We digitalize film by scanning it on a professional Fuji Frontier SP-2000 from the year 2001. The Fuji Frontier allows us to scan any film size (35mm and 120 film), every format (2:3, 6:6, 4.5:6, 6:7, etc.) and any film type (negative, positive and BW) in a variety of scan sizes (S, M, L and XL). We also develop every film by hand in rolling tanks. Some of our scans are showcased in the slides above.

I am currently working on a running website for 'Full Frame Fotolabor' to broaden our online presence. The website you are visiting right now acted as a sort of preparation for this new site. Once the official 'Full Frame Fotolabor' website is operational, you will be able to visit it on www.fullframefotolabor.com .
